A thoughtful DMV community shaped around connection, conversation, and the fullness of women's lives.

How It Started

From a Single Chat
to a Full Community

Ladies That Gather was born from a simple truth: women thrive when they are surrounded by other women who truly see them. What started as a single WhatsApp group between a handful of women in the DMV blossomed into something much bigger.

We looked around and saw plenty of networking groups and social clubs — but very few spaces that celebrated the full, messy, beautiful complexity of being a woman today. So we built one.

"Every woman deserves a room where she belongs completely."

Today Ladies That Gather spans 32 interest groups, regular events across Maryland, Virginia, and DC, a growing blog and newsletter, a community forum, and a marketplace for swapping and giving. We are just getting started.

Low-key, high-joy. A cozy café morning with board games and easy conversation — the perfect entry point for new members who want to ease in gently.
Book Corner
Readers, recommenders, and the occasional spirited debate about endings. Monthly picks, in-person meetups, and a dedicated forum thread for deep dives.

Trail hikes, yoga, and wellness meetups across the DMV. We move together — and the conversation on the trail is always just as good as the views.
