The Origin
Ladies That Gather was born from a simple truth: women thrive when they are surrounded by other women who truly see them. What started as a single WhatsApp group between a handful of women in the DMV blossomed into a vibrant women's community.
The group was started to address a gap. There are plenty of networking groups and social clubs in the DMV region, but very few spaces celebrate the full, messy, beautiful complexity of being a woman today. So we built one.
What We Believe
We believe in the power of gathering — not just socially, but intentionally. Every brunch, art walk, and game night is designed to create the conditions for real connection.
Where We Are Now
Today Ladies That Gather has grown to include regular events across Maryland, Virginia, and DC, interest-based spaces, community conversations, and digital connection that continues beyond each gathering. We're just getting started.
